As you already know, apart from your text books and exercises, you should improve your reading skills and, to do so, the Department of English has considered the possibility to check your improvement by telling you to read graded readings (ESO and 1st Bachillerato) and updated articles (2nd Bachillerato) on the one hand, and to complete several comprehension exercises on the other.

You’d better start reading and ask your English teacher for further information or in case you have any doubts.

For further reading you can try a classic. It’s a short story by Edgar Allan Poe: «The Pit and the Pendulum», which I recommend not to be read at night before sleeping ‘cause it is a horror story. You can read and listen to the story by clicking on the link below.  Enjoy your reading.
